The setting's base shape was handcrafted using lost wax casting techniques.

an organic pentagon accents the rose cut diamond, which was mounted upside down so that it has a flat top and all of the beautiful inclusions are highly visible

The band chosen is a simple vintage half round band, which was added after the setting was cast

The stone is secured with low profile prongs
